Our Privacy Notice (“Notice”) defines how the SC POWER, its associated companies, affiliates, linked companies and jointly controlled entities (collectively “SC”, “we”, “our” or “us”) gather, use, process and disclose Your Personal Data through Your use of our SC POWER Websites and Apps (including all mobile applications and websites operated by SC POWER (correspondingly “Apps” and “Websites”), goods, features and other services (collectively “Services”). Our Privacy Notice is to be read in combining with our Terms of Use. Our Terms of Use also relate to your use of our Services.
Currently, the SC POWER contains but is not limited to, SC Power, SC Training, and SC Apps.
This Privacy Notice relates to our customers, partners, users, agents, vendors, associates, suppliers, contractors and service providers (collectively “You”, “Your” and “Yours”).
“Personal Data” is any data which can be used to recognize You or from which You are recognizable by us. This comprises but is not limited to Your name, telephone number, nationality, bank and credit card details, personal interests, Your image, email address, government-issued identification numbers, security camera images, biometric data, event photo and videograph, race, phone conversations, date of birth, marital status health data, religion, automobile and insurance information.
Except otherwise specified, the terms definite in this Privacy Notice shall apply to this file only, and terms defined in other documents, which rule our connection with You, do not apply in this Privacy Notice.
Our Commitment
We are committed to safeguarding the security of Your Personal Data. The way we gather, process, use or disclose Your Personal Data shall, at all times, be in agreement with and subject to the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act (No. 26 of 2012) (“the Act”).

By visiting our Websites or Apps, applying for, renewing or using any of our Services or products, or providing us with your Personal Data, You consent to Your Personal Data being collected, processed, retained, used and disclosed as set out in this Privacy Notice.

Types Of Personal Data We Collect
The Personal Data we bring together depends on the Services and products we bid You, or which You use or apply for, or which You show an interest to use or apply for. We may also be necessary to gather Personal Data about other people with whom You have a connection or relationship with such as a joint applications, co-borrower, or Your spouse, children or partner. Usually, the Personal Data that we gather, use and preserve include Your name, contact details (address, fax number and phone, and email address), birth date, gender and payment information. We may also gather data that is definite to a specific service or product.
Why We Collect Your Personal Data
We gather Your Personal Data to deliver, administer and offer our various services and products, or otherwise as allowed by law. - Joint-applicants or others who are authorized or noted on the home loan request as having a legal interest in it;
- associations, Clubs, member loyalty or rewards program providers and other relevant organizations; and
- Data partners, analytic consultants and other similar organizations.
If You disclose Personal Data to us about another person (“Second Person’s Personal Data“), we trust on You to have made him/her alert of our Privacy Notice. Before You disclose such Second Person’s Personal Data to us, You must get his/her consent to do so. By proceeding to disclose the Second Person’s Personal Data to us, You permit to us that You have attained his/her permission to do so and You will hold us inoffensive from any act or request that may be occupied against us arising out of such disclosure by You to us.
A number of interactive facilities or tools may be accessible on our Websites. We may gather Your Personal Data from, and/or share Your Personal Data with, other third parties under the following circumstances:

- As provided in any gathering notice we give You;
- Where You have provided Your consensus (which may be given expressly or may be deemed given in accordance with the Act);
- For purposes related to research (including market research), planning, training, security, service development, risk management and testing;
- Where a product and service You relay for is provided or delivered by or through a third party;
- Where a third party, such as a carries out activities on our behalf, mailing house;
- If revelation is otherwise obligatory in order to offer You with a particular service or product;

Access to and correction of Your Personal Data
You may in general access the Personal Data that we hold about You and, upon paying a reasonable administrative fee, request amendments. We will get back to you within 30 days on the Access and/or Alteration Request. We may decline access where:
- Your appeal may have an irrational impact on the privacy of others;
- Your appeal is vexatious or frivolous (as reasonably determined by us);
- Your appeal relates to existing or anticipated legal proceedings and would not be available by the procedure of detection in those proceedings; or
- Your appeal would disclose our purposes in relation to discussions in such a way as to prejudice those negotiations.
- Your appeal would disclose evaluative data in association with a commercially sensitive decision-making process.
- On grounds indicated within the Fifth and Sixth Schedule of the PDPA Singapore Personal Data Protection Act.
If we decline You access, or to provide access in the manner demanded by You, we will let You know.
Unless identified otherwise in this Privacy Notice, You may access Your personal data at no cost to You by contacting our Data Protection Officer (“DPO”) at Dpo@scpower.sg with the words “PERSONAL DATA” in the subject line. For access to complex or sensitive data or more detailed needs for access to Your personal data, for example, access to data that is archived, we may need You to place Your appeal in writing and charge You a fee for our reasonable costs of recovering and delivering the data to You.
In all cases You will be requested to confirm who You are before your personal data is provided. All requests for personal data will be handled in a reasonable period of time.
How To Contact Us About Privacy
The terms of this Privacy Notice shall not bias or affect any rights or obligations that we have under the Act.
If You have any questions, suggestions or complaints about our privacy practices (including a complaint about a breach of the personal data protection act) or this Privacy Notice, You can email our DPO, at Dpo@scpower.sg with the words “PERSONAL DATA” in the subject line. We will respond to Your question, suggestion or complaint as soon as reasonably possible.
If You are not satisfied with our response to Your query or complaint You can contact the DPO and request that it be revised by a senior staff member who will reasonably endeavour to resolution Your dispute within 30 days. If You are still not content, You may then wish to seek out independent legal guidance.
